It's been hellish here in these summers.
Temperature rising up like anything.
Come noon, and life inside everyone was sucked.
Some thoughts cross my mind :
What of a farmer?
What of a rickshaw-puller?
What of a roadside-vendor?
What of all those not so fortunate?
I think, think and think.
I am sorry for all of them.
I know, that doesn't help them in any way.
I pray for better times for all. Promise to help the needy.
The day it rained. The day of respite from the burn.
Got out of office late in the evening.
Walked back home.
Felt the rain. Felt the breeze.
Each drop dancing. Playing tunes.
Trees making merry.
Water droplets making beautiful patterns upon the lake.
Shimmer of lights.
I thanked god for the much needed showers.
I felt satiated.
I felt happy.
